Overview

ITS is renewing the security certificate for our Domain Controllers which serve the LDAP/LDAPS connections. This change will impact system services that connect to Active Directory via LDAPS. The end users or clients should NOT experience any issues directly with their connectivity to SFSU resources. We have coordinated with the service owners on this change.

Benefit

Secure connection to domain controllers in ad.sfsu.edu requires a certificate. A certificate enables encrypted communication between applications and domain controllers.

What Can You Expect

End users or clients should not experience issues with their connectivity to SFSU resources.
