Overview
ITS will apply monthly Windows security and critical updates on Windows servers on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The latest Windows security patches fix vulnerabilities and errors in Windows and associated software. Security and critical updates reduce the risk of exploitation by malware or hackers.
What Can You Expect
During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief loss of service while each server reboots. During the maintenance window, each server will be unavailable for less than 10 minutes.

Overview
Avaya Workplace will conduct a maintenance window on Monday, June 10, from 7 – 10 p.m. to collect the finest logs from the AADS servers.
What Can You Expect
This maintenance window may impact some Avaya Workplace softphone users. During the log collection, users will not be able to log in to the Avaya Workplace softphone app. All users who were already logged in prior to the maintenance window will not be affected and can process and receive calls normally. There will be no impact on desk phone users or voicemail.

Overview
On Friday, June 7, 2024, ITS will apply a critical Oracle patch to the PROD database. These critical security updates ensure our data remains protected. The maintenance will run from Friday, June 7, 5 p.m. through Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. During the patch process, there will be a brief interruption to all services that connect to the Oracle databases.
Benefit: Upgrading the Oracle PROD will ensure our databases remain secure.
What Can You Expect
The following applications and services will not be available during upgrading:

• Data refresh for HR_INTERFACE object
• Data refresh for OneCard
• Data refresh for some OnBase MVs

Overview
The Chancellor's Office (CO) has scheduled a downtime maintenance window for both campus PeopleSoft platforms (Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 and Human Resources (HR) 9.0). The downtime will occur today, Friday, June 7, from 8 p.m. until midnight while the CO works to apply a maintenance pack upgrade.
Benefit:
- 2024-25 Cal State Apply updates, including processing unknown gender and ethnicity description in the application posting cycle.
- Updates to the multiple SQL views used for CSU Fully Online in an effort to enhance performance issues.
- The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has updated its State Codes, which include Indonesia, Korea, and the Philippines.
What Can You Expect
Campus Solutions (CS) and Human Resources (HR) will not be available during the maintenance window. Affected applications include:
- Accept Admission Offer
- CEL Quick Admit
- E-Trac
- Gator Scheduler

What Can You Expect
During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief loss of service. Each service will be unavailable for approximately ten minutes during the maintenance window.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, ITS will apply critical Oracle patches to the FPPRD and FWPRD databases. These critical security updates ensure our data remains protected. The maintenance will run from Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. During the patch process, there will be a brief interruption to all services that connect to the Oracle databases.
Benefit: Upgrading the Oracle FPPRD and FWPRD will ensure our databases remain secure.
What Can You Expect
The following applications and services will not be available during upgrading:
- Cash Offset for GL
- CFS Crosswalk
- Change Oracle Account Password
- CSU Accounting Line for GL
- Gator pass
- Independent Contractor for Auxiliary

- Registration Appeal

Overview
ITS will be performing required maintenance on the SFSU OneCard system, which resides at SF State, on Thursday, May 30th, from 8 to 9 p.m. The OneCard system will be unavailable during this time.
Benefit: This upgrade will improve both security and reliability of the OneCard system.

The SFSU OneCard system and various Integrations will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

Overview
ITS will upgrade the OnBase Production Oracle Database at 5 p.m. Friday, May 17, and conclude the upgrade and testing/verification by 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Benefit: Increased security, support, and preparation for future OnBase upgrades.
What Can You Expect
OnBase will be unavailable during the upgrade. At 5 p.m. Friday, any active users will be disconnected. OnBase will be back up and working by 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19.
