Overview

On Monday, February 5, ITS upgraded ServiceNow to the Vancouver release. There are two upcoming changes to be implemented on Monday, February 12, described below.

What Can You Expect

Service Portal Update: This will allow all catalog items and knowledge base articles (including Human Resources) to appear in one place.
The URL will remain the same: https://sfsu.service-now.com/sp

Email Notification Change: Users will receive a simplified template when tickets are emailed. Agents responding to tickets should respond as if it was an email, include a salutation “Hello Agnes”, and a signature with your name and department. This will also ensure the user knows who addressing the request or incident and help personalize the interaction between the agent and the user.
