The Chancellor's Office (CO) has scheduled a maintenance window for the Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 PeopleSoft platform. The system will be unavailable on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 8 p.m. to midnight while the CO applies a baseline project

During this maintenance, the CO will migrate their latest CSU Fully Online Maintenance project.

Overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform required security maintenance on the San Francisco State University (SFSU) OneCard system, on Monday, June 9, 2025,from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The OneCard system and Transact will be unavailable during this maintenance window. 

 

Benefit 

This upgrade will enhance both the security and reliability of the OneCard and Transact systems.

 

What to Expect

The SFSU OneCard system and its integrated services will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

Benefit

  • Includes updated packaging equations and callable SQLs to support campuses in estimating MCS (Middle Class Scholarship) awards for the 2025–26 academic year.
  • Resolves an issue in the Cal Grant GPA Non-SSN process, which was incorrectly selecting students without a Federal or Cal ISIR on file for the run control year or the prior year.

Overview

On Saturday, June 7, from 4 to 6 p.m., Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform monthly security and critical operating system (OS) updates on the Linux servers.

 

Benefit

These updates address known security vulnerabilities and enhance the overall stability and performance of Linux services.

 

What Can You Expect

During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief service disruption while the system reboots. Each service is expected to be unavailable for approximately ten minutes.

Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 & Human Resources (HR) 9.0 Production Downtime — May 23, 2025, 8 p.m. to midnight

Overview

The Chancellor's Office has scheduled a maintenance window for the Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 and Human Resources (HR) 9.0 PeopleSoft platforms. This maintenance will take place on Friday, May 23rd from 8 p.m. to midnight, during which time the systems will be unavailable. The purpose of this downtime is to apply a maintenance pack upgrade.

 

Benefit 

  • Updates Cal ISIR for the 2025–2026 aid year
  • Fixes an error in CSU Advisor Notes, which now allow users to add a note to a student with no existing notes
  • Enables multiple users to use the same Run Control ID for various systemwide reporting functions
  • Enhances display features for combined classes
  • Adds new Management Personnel Plan (MPP) codes for HR’s Workforce Administration module

 

What Can You Expect

Overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) will apply monthly Windows security and critical updates on Windows servers on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The latest Windows security patches fix vulnerabilities and errors in Windows and associated software, reducing the risk of exploitation by malware or hackers. 

 

What Can You Expect

During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief loss of service while each server reboots. Each server will be unavailable for less than 10 minutes during the maintenance window.

Oracle Database Maintenance - Friday, May 16 to Saturday, May 17, 2025

Overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) will apply a critical Oracle patch to the OIMPRD and IRDMPRD databases from Friday, May 16, at 5 p.m. through Saturday, May 17, at 5 p.m. These essential security updates help ensure the protection of our data. During this maintenance window, there will be a brief interruption to all services that connect to the Oracle databases. 

 

Benefit: 

Upgrading the Oracle OIMPRD and IRDMPRD will enhance security and ensure continued protection of our systems.
