Microsoft Copilot

Service Description

Microsoft Copilot is a generative AI assistant designed to enhance productivity and streamline tasks. It offers insights to help users work more efficiently. Copilot uses several advanced AI models to provide its capabilities. Primarily, it uses Microsoft’s Prometheus AI model, which integrates generative AI tools from OpenAI, including ChatGPT-4, ChatGPT-4o, and DALL-E 31. These models enable Copilot to offer intelligent suggestions and simplify tasks.

Every SF State staff, student, and faculty member has a license for Copilot, which comes with SF State's Microsoft licenses. This license includes enterprise data protection to ensure that campus data remains private.
