Oracle Database Maintenance - Friday, December 05 – Saturday, December 06, 2025

Overview 

Information Technology Services (ITS) will apply a critical Oracle patch to the PROD and OBPRD databases from Friday, December 05, at 5 p.m. through Saturday, December 06, at 5 p.m. These essential security updates help protect our data and ensure system integrity. During this maintenance window, there will be a brief interruption in all services connected to the OnBase databases.  

 

Benefits 

Upgrading the PROD and OBPRD databases will strengthen security and ensure continued protection of SFSU data.   

 

What to Expect

  • • Password Change / Reset 
  • • Pre-Requisite Roster 
  • • SF State ID lookup 
  • • Short Term Loan 
  • • University Calendar 
  • • Zeus Test 
  • • Data refresh for OneCard 
  • • Data refresh for some OnBase MVs 
  • • Data refresh for HR_INTERFACE object 
  • • MV refresh for Academic Technology 
  • • MV refresh for Follett Bookstore 
  • • MV refresh for usage of Web Team such as those CR objects 
  • • OnBase application
