While the team was working diligently to set up and integrate the West Grove Commons door locks in time for Fall move-in, which was successful, Tim was walking the halls of West Grove Commons during construction and testing every door lock. Each time the contractor declared the doors working, Tim would drive to campus and repeat his testing. This went for several rounds before the locks truly were working as required. This testing was technically outside of Tim's scope and should have been performed by the vendor. However, Tim quickly noticed that the vendor was underperforming and understood that this had to be perfect in order to meet HDCS's expectations and the students already booked to live in WGC. Tim went above and beyond to commute to campus and conduct many of these tests.
