Monthly Windows Update (Saturday, October 14, 2023, 6 p.m.-midnight)

Overview

ITS will apply monthly Windows security and critical updates on Windows servers on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 6 p.m.-midnight. The latest Windows security patches fix the vulnerabilities and errors in Windows and associated software. Security and critical updates reduce the risk of exploitation by malware or hackers.

 

What Can You Expect

During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief loss of service while each server is rebooted. Each server is expected to be unavailable for less than 10 minutes during the maintenance window.

RESOLVED: Unofficial Transcript issues in Campus Solutions- Production (Monday, September 25, 2023)

Overview

As of yesterday evening, unofficial transcripts have been restored in Campus Solutions (CS).

 

What Can You Expect

Students and campus users can now request unofficial transcripts in CS without issues.

Unofficial Transcript issues in Campus Solutions- Production (Monday, September 25, 2023)

Overview

Students cannot retrieve their unofficial transcripts due to an error in Campus Solutions (CS). The Chancellor’s Office (CO) will install a fix later today, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., to resolve the issue.

 

What Can You Expect

Campus users attempting to generate an unofficial transcript in CS will receive an error message. Campus Solutions will not be available between 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. today while the CO installs a fix.

Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 & Human Resources (HR) 9.0 Production Downtime (Friday, September 22, 2023, 8 p.m. – midnight)

Overview

The Chancellor's Office has scheduled an emergency downtime maintenance window for campus PeopleSoft platforms (Campus Solutions (CS) 9.2 and Human Resources (HR) 9.0. The downtime will occur on Friday, September 22, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight while the Chancellor's Office works to apply a maintenance pack upgrade.

 

Benefit: Critical updates applied for FISAP reporting to the Department of Education.

 

What Can You Expect

Campus Solutions (CS) and Human Resources (HR) will not be available during the maintenance window. 

 

Affected applications include:

 

- E-Trac

- CEL Quick Admit

- Gator Scheduler

- Accept Admission Offer

StarRez Application Single Sign-On (SSO) Maintenance (Tuesday, September 26, 2023)

Overview

ITS has scheduled a maintenance window for StarRez to integrate this application with Azure Cloud SSO. The change is happening on the backend, and users should not experience any differences during the login process into StarRez. The maintenance window will take place on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. The change will improve the security and availability of StarRez.

 

What Can You Expect

Users may be unable to access StarRez Application during the migration timeframe. Users already logged in will not be affected.
