Service Description
SAS provides a scalable, integrated software environment specially designed for data access, transformation, and reporting. It includes a fourth-generation programming language; ready-to-use programs for data manipulation, information storage and retrieval, descriptive statistics and report writing. SAS e-Learning, is a series of self-paced training modules on SAS that are available online.

SF State supports SAS 9.2 and 9.3 for Windows. SAS is not available for Mac OS. SAS is available in Academic Technology's Labspace, and in several campus computer labs for student access. Faculty and staff are eligible to install SAS on University-owned computers only. To request SAS or SAS e-Learning access, submit a service request.
