The ITS Mission

Information Technology Services advances the mission of SF State by providing reliable and secure enterprise-wide applications and infrastructure to support SF State's long standing commitments to teaching, learning, and social justice.

These are the core areas of service within ITS:

Service Desk

A single point of contact for all issues, problems, or questions related to technology services and computing at SF State. One can seek assistance by submitting an onlineĀ Service Request Ticket, via e-mail, walk-in, or the SF State mobile app. The Service Desk is located in ADM 110, Administration Building and is open between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Enterprise Applications

Implements and maintains enterprise business applications such as Campus Solutions and Human Resources Management System (HRMS).

Web Apps

Designs and develops campus websites, and supports and maintains a robust Drupal-based content management platform.

Mobile Apps

Develops theĀ SF State Mobile App.


Manages the university's network infrastructure, including wireless and wired services.


Manages the university's telecommunications infrastructure, including the university's phone system.


Provides the technology infrastructure that is key to running campus technology services, maintains the campus servers and data center, and supports identity and access management.

Information Security

Oversees SF State's efforts to protect its computing and information assets and to comply with information-related laws, regulations, and policies. The Information Security Officer (ISO) provides information security training, evaluations, and best practice recommendations for the campus network and community.
